Strand - Algebra (Patterns)
Students are given repeating patterns and use the color grid on the right of the screen to complete the pattern. Patterns are lengthy (4-5 units to the pattern) so this is for students who are more comfortable with patterns but a great extending patterns activity for later K and 1st grade.

Count by 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, 8s, or 9s Students choose by what number they will be counting and then drag numbers from the large area to the number line below. As the player gets numbers correct, the score increases. Incorrect numbers decrease the score, even into the negative. |
Strand - Algebra (Quantitative Relationships)
There are two versions of this game. In the first version, a student explores the movement of the turtle by clicking on the leaves. They can notice the difference in distance on the line when you jump forward vs. backward and +1 vs +5 vs +10. The second version gives an addition problem such as 25+14 and the student must manipulate the turtle to the answer using only the leaves at the bottom of the screen. (Also a good place value activity.)
